This year has been a pivotal year for Sublime Italian Artisans. Much has transpired, but on the balance of things, mostly positive developments for our young company.

Workwise we completed several projects in and around Turin, as well well as venturing south to Rome. There we completed a prestigious five-roomed apartment in the city centre, taking three months to complete. Other projects in Turin varied from small repairs to complete house restorations. Several of these construction challenges will be carried over to the new year for completion.

This year we said goodbye to Vincenzo Angelica, who has left to work independently. Enzo assisted in getting Sublime Italian Artisans off the ground. His hard work will always be appreciated. Moving forward, Sublime Italian Artisans has no further involvement with Vincenzo Angelica, nor has he any involvement with our existing and/or future clients/projects. We wish Vincenzo well in his future endeavors.

Further changes are in 2017 was our office location. We outgrew the space in Via Villa della Regina and moved to larger offices located at Via Amergio Vespucci 8, Turin, Italy. Of course the company fiscal address is still Cuneo and to that end, we are moving our warehouse closer to Cuneo. The old storage facility in Vinovo in no longer operative.  The new premises will be positioned near Fossano. This move is also in line with business developments in the south of Italy. There is much work to do there, especially in Tuscany and on the island of Elba.

On the subject of future growth, we will reveal more in our mission statement for 2018. In the meantime, this brief annual report concludes with memories of work and travels. During the year, we opened windows to our world by exhibiting at Artigianato e Palazzo, Florence, Italy and Salon International du Patriomoine Culturel, Louvre, Paris. While it takes time and effort to attend these exhibitions, it’s important for us to demonstrate the benefits of lime, to a wider audience.

We close off 2017 with a mixture of growing pains and lessons learned. A hard but worthwhile journey. Speaking of milestones, we have past the three year barrier, often described as the “make or break” for new companies. We’re through to the successful side!

This report concludes the year that was 2017. We look forward to an even more promising 2018. See you there!
